Mission Statement:

The Harvard Undergraduate Black Pre-Law Association, founded in 2006, is dedicated to providing exposure, information, and resources to students—black students in particular—pursuing entrance into legal institutions and careers involving law. Although aiding the minority pre-law population is primarily our goal, exposure is not exclusive to those who are underrepresented. We aim to inform and be beneficial to all who are interested in pursuing law. We seek to offer resources that will enhance educational and professional opportunities for all students, while specifically targeting the needs of minority groups who remain underrepresented as members of the legal community. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the organization’s executives to attract speakers, recruiters, and partners who are equally committed to ensuring that more students from these groups will be provided with resources that will aid their ability to be competitive candidates for law school admission.
